Taylor Pro is challenging some of the preconceptions of drivers education by doing things not just right, but exceptional.
Many schools teach on old trucks that on their last legs of life, or with instructors that are past their prime and are there for the paycheck.
Not so at this place
Taylor Pro uses modern trucks and from what I learned in my time there, buys and sells frequently to keep their fleet modern, relevant and in fantastic repair.
The people are what set this place apart.
Your first calls you'll conversation with Rhea. Powerful force to be reckoned with that brings energ and enthusiasm, the embodiment of strong women in the workforce.
John was my primary instructor with years of experience. He makes the learning curve relatable, sometimes straightforward observations, often more subtle suggestions.
I also had the opportunity to drive and learn from Ben and Leroy. Both have years of driving and teaching, patience and awareness. Ben brings energy and enthusiasm, along with a multitude of teaching techniques to learning curve to make it relatable.
At Taylor Pro, they're not teaching you to pass an ICBC road test. You're learning to drive as a safe, competent operator in real life. That philosophy translates to real world success.

The training team at Taylor Pro in Kelowna are absolutely top-notch. I recommend them to anyone looking to complete the MELT program successfully. I had Leroy at the start teaching me the basics of the pre trip inspection and how to get through the outskirts and then into downtown Kelowna and then John for the last couple weeks smoothing out the rough edges (and there were many)😅

Affordable options for all your driver training needs. Administrative staff are super friendly and helpful. Instructors were knowledgeable, patient and professional in the training. They took the time to ensure a good understanding of the class 3 training I was enrolled in. I’m now more comfortable and confident in my ability to drive a class 3 vehicle. I had a great experience at Taylor Pro College. Ben was my instructor and he was excellent — patient, knowledgeable, and really good at explaining things clearly. I came in nervous and with no experience driving a standard transmission or shifting at all, but they broke everything down in a way that made it manageable and built my confidence quickly.
The training was solid and well structured, and I ended up passing my class 3 road test on the first try. I’d definitely recommend Taylor Pro to anyone looking to get properly trained and feel confident behind the wheel.

I just finished my Air Brakes course an Class 3 driving program with Taylor pro driving school. I want to thank everyone from Rhea in the office, Driving instructors Ben,John, an Leroy for teaching me every step of the way with no pressure an encouraging an knowledgeable I learnt so much in the 45 hour driving program I didn't think was possible from the pre-trip to shifting an driving position, An passed first try. I would highly recommend Taylor pro to anyone looking to upgrade there license

I took Class 4 unrestricted driver training with Taylor Pro and used their vehicle for the driving test and I really can't say enough about them. The training provided by Leroy and John was top drawer and their level of experience with all classes of license training was very helpful. On the day of the drivers test I forgot my wallet and ID in my personal vehicle and when I got to ICBC I was horrified to think I couldn't take the test after all the prep and time it took to get the test appointment. Anyhow, not to worry, John had a discussion with the ICBC Supervisor and instructor and they all arranged to delay my test window while Rhea from Taylor selflessly hopped in her car and drove to the ICBC test centre to pick up my keys, drove back to Taylor and returned with my wallet. Totally above and beyond customer service and all of that on top of the excellent training program. Highly recommend these folks!

I just completed the Class 1 MELT program at the Vernon location, the Vernon team made it a great experience.
I had Matthew Dutchak as an instructor for the theory and driving portions of the course. He was knowledgeable and patient, great at giving examples and breaking things down whenever required. Matt made things easy to digest and apply while driving.
Matt and Robbie Williams were keen to provide industry insights at every opportunity. They made sure to emphasize safe practices and gave great examples to reinforce their importance.
Cindy Helfrich was incredibly helpful with coordinating scheduling and ensuring deadlines were met along the way.
I appreciate everything they did for me.

Completed my Class 1 through TaylorPro, Everyone working there is SUPER awesome, friendly and easy to talk to. Instructors are very flexible with hours and preferred style of training. Leeroy is an amazing instructor full to the brim with Knowledge. Ill 1,000% recommend anyone i know to this school.

Had a great experience with Taylor Pro getting my Class 3 license! The instructors were super helpful and made the whole process easy and stress-free. They really took the time to explain everything and made sure I was fully prepared for the test. Passed on my first try thanks to them!
