About the Program
Taylor Pro’s Nova Scotia Class 1 Professional Driver Training with Internship program is designed to produce professional drivers for the trucking industry. During our 8-week program we combine theory and practical driver training while teaching industry regulatory requirements and safety procedures regulations to prepare our students to enter the transportation industry. Once students have acquired the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully complete their class one road test, they will be placed into a 4-week internship where a driver – coach will mentor them through the day-to-day challenges of a professional truck driver.

8. Nova Scotia Class 1 Road Test
Students who pass the theory and practical exams will be given the opportunity to use our tractor-trailer for their class one road test at Access Nova Scotia.
Note: Passing a Nova Scotia Class 1 Road Test does NOT guarantee passing this program

Students who successfully complete our Class 1 Professional Driver Training with Internship Program, will be ready for an entry-level position as a professional driver on the road to pursuing a career in the transportation industry!
