Code of Conduct – Taylor Pro College
At Taylor Pro College, we are committed to maintaining a professional, respectful, and ethical environment for all students, faculty, and staff. The College expects all members of the community to uphold the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and mutual respect in every aspect of academic and campus life.
We believe that fairness, cooperation, and accountability are essential for fostering an inclusive and productive learning environment.
Scope of this Code
This Code applies to all students, instructors, staff, and administrative personnel engaged in academic or campus-related activities under the authority of Taylor Pro College.
Expectations for Students
Students are required to:
- Abide by all institutional policies, including those published in this Code, the Academic Calendar, and on the official Taylor Pro College website.
- Maintain academic integrity in all course-related activities.
- Treat all faculty, staff, and fellow students with respect and courtesy.
- Participate in a manner that promotes a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Students must not:
- Forge, alter, or falsify any document or official record required by the College.
- Use unauthorized aids, or seek or offer unauthorized assistance, in the completion of academic assignments, tests, or examinations.
- Present another individual’s work, ideas, or expressions as their own, without proper citation.
- Re-submit any assignment or academic work that has previously received credit, without prior approval from the instructor.
- Engage in disruptive, abusive, or harassing behavior that interferes with teaching, learning, or college operations.
Expectations for Faculty and Staff
Faculty and staff are expected to:
- Model professionalism, fairness, and ethical behavior in all interactions with students and colleagues.
- Uphold academic integrity and report any concerns of misconduct through the proper channels.
- Foster an environment of academic excellence, respect, and student support.
Faculty and staff must not:
- Approve or overlook instances of academic dishonesty.
- Create, modify, or falsify academic records or student evaluations.
- Engage in fraud, misrepresentation, or unethical behavior in the performance of their duties.
Academic Integrity
Taylor Pro College strictly prohibits all forms of academic dishonesty, including but not limited to:
- Plagiarism
- Cheating on tests or assignments
- Fabrication or falsification of data
- Unauthorized collaboration
- Academic fraud
Violations may result in disciplinary action, including warnings, academic penalties, suspension, or dismissal from the College.
Reporting Misconduct
Any suspected violation of this Code should be reported to the Student Services Office or the Academic Director. All reports will be treated confidentially and investigated fairly and promptly.
