Health, Safety and Addiction Support
At Taylor Pro College, we are committed to maintaining a safe and supportive environment where students can focus on their academic and personal success. We recognize that overall well-being plays an important role in student achievement and aim to provide students with guidance and information about available support resources.
Health & Safety
Taylor Pro College promotes a healthy and secure learning environment through established safety policies, emergency procedures, and student awareness initiatives. Our facilities follow applicable health and safety guidelines to help ensure a safe campus environment for students and staff.
Mental Health & Wellness
Student well-being is a priority. While Taylor Pro College does not provide in-house clinical counselling services, we may assist students by providing information about wellness resources, stress management strategies, and referrals to appropriate mental health professionals or community organizations when needed.
Addiction and Substance Use Support
Taylor Pro College promotes a supportive and non-judgmental environment for students who may be affected by substance use. Students are encouraged to seek help if needed, and staff may assist by referring students to community-based health services that provide addiction support, harm reduction, and overdose prevention programs.
Community-Based Health and Crisis Resources
Students may access various external health and support services available in British Columbia. These organizations provide immediate and ongoing assistance when needed.
